Spidev is an AI company based in Monterrey, Mexico, that works remotely with companies across Mexico and Latin America, in Spanish and English. We design, build and operate AI agents that work inside the tools your company already uses — WhatsApp, CRM, ERP, email and spreadsheets — to answer and qualify customers, take orders, check e-invoices, reconcile payments, follow up on collections and screen candidates. The first agents reach production in weeks, and after that we monitor and tune them.

What we automate for companies in Latin America
These agents work in any country in the region, because they work inside the tools your company already uses. Each one hands a person whatever needs judgment.
01
WhatsApp customers and leads, answered in minutes
Every message gets a reply within minutes, including nights and weekends; the agent asks what your team needs to know, qualifies the prospect, books the meeting or visit and logs everything in your CRM. Your salespeople keep the negotiation and the close. See AI agents for sales.
02
Supplier e-invoices matched against your ERP
Each country has its own format — CFDI 4.0 in Mexico, the factura electrónica de venta in Colombia, DTEs in Chile, comprobantes de pago electrónicos in Peru, electronic invoices with a CAE in Argentina —, but the work is the same: the agent reads every invoice you receive, matches it against the purchase order and goods receipt in your ERP and hands the differences to accounts payable. See AI agents for finance & operations.
03
WhatsApp orders for distributors
Your customers send orders on WhatsApp; the agent shares the catalog and stock, takes products and quantities, enters the order in your ERP or Google Sheets and confirms the delivery date. Credit and special terms stay with your sales rep. See AI for distributors.
04
Payments reconciled, however customers pay
Bank transfer, digital wallet or QR code: when a customer sends you their receipt on WhatsApp, the agent reads it, finds the payment in your bank transactions, applies it to the open invoice in your ERP and hands treasury whatever doesn’t match.
05
Collections before and after the due date
Before each due date, the agent sends the reminder with the invoice by email or on WhatsApp, using approved templates; it answers the usual questions with data from your ERP and logs every payment promise. Late payments and negotiations go to a person on your team with the full history.
06
Customer service with context
The usual questions — the status of an order, a shipment, an invoice — get answered on WhatsApp, email or chat with data from your CRM or ERP, and every case is logged. Anything out of the ordinary goes to your team with the full conversation. See AI agents for customer support.
07
Reports from several countries in one place
If your company operates in more than one country, the agent asks each subsidiary for its sales, collections and operations reports every week, consolidates them in Excel or Google Sheets and tells each owner what is missing. Leadership gets a summary with the deviations that matter and decides what to do about them.
08
Recruiting for roles with many applicants
When a job opening gets more CVs than your team can review, the agent screens them against your criteria, asks the first questions and books interviews in Google Calendar or Outlook. The hiring manager interviews and decides, and candidates hear back at every stage. See AI agents for HR.
Why start with WhatsApp
Your customers are already on WhatsApp. Two official data points from the region: in Colombia, 9 in 10 smartphone users use a messaging app and the most used is WhatsApp, according to the CRC; in Peru, instant messaging platforms were the most used digital tools (68.6%) and 98.6% of their users used WhatsApp, according to OSIPTEL.
An AI agent on WhatsApp answers, qualifies and follows up with data from your CRM and ERP, and hands your team whatever needs judgment. Messages your company starts — reminders, payment notices — go out with approved templates and respect anyone who asked not to receive them. E-invoicing and data protection, country by country
Each country has its own electronic invoicing system and its own personal data law. This is the summary; the detail, with official sources, is on each country’s page. This is not legal advice.
Colombia: DIAN’s factura electrónica de venta, in XML with a CUFE. Personal data: Ley Estatutaria 1581 de 2012, enforced by the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, which issued guidelines for AI systems in 2024 (Circular Externa 002).
Chile: the SII’s electronic tax documents (DTEs), in XML; the law gives eight calendar days from receipt to dispute an invoice. Personal data: Ley 19.628 is in force today; Ley 21.719 amends it and creates the Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales, with entry into force set for December 1, 2026 and a bill in Congress to postpone it.
Peru: SUNAT’s electronic payment documents, in XML under the UBL 2.1 standard, and the electronic guía de remisión, mandatory since 2024. Personal data: Ley 29733 and its new regulation (Decreto Supremo 016-2024-JUS), in force since 2025, overseen by the National Personal Data Protection Authority.
Argentina: electronic invoices authorized with a CAE by ARCA, the agency that replaced AFIP, and MiPyME electronic credit invoices (FCE). Personal data: Ley 25.326, with the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública as enforcement authority.
Working with a team in Monterrey
Monterrey is on UTC−6 all year, because since 2022 Mexico only applies seasonal time in some municipalities on the northern border (Ley de los Husos Horarios). Colombia and Peru, on UTC−5, are one hour ahead; Argentina, on UTC−3, three; and continental Chile, on UTC−4 or UTC−3 depending on the time of year, two or three. With any of them we share a good part of the working day, and because the agents work inside your cloud tools, what they do doesn’t depend on where we are.
The process is the same in every country: a free AI consultation to understand your operation, a proposal with fixed scope, timeline and price before we charge anything, the first agents in production in weeks and, after that, we run them: we monitor them, tune them and stay accountable for their results. If we don’t see a clear case, we tell you.
We build and we operate. You don’t get a prototype and a handoff: we take the agents to production, monitor them and tune them as your operation changes. We stay accountable for the results they deliver.
Fixed price before we charge. The first consultation is free and the proposal comes with fixed scope, timeline and price. If we don’t see a clear case, we tell you.
In production in weeks, not months. We work in short cycles so you see real results from the start, not slide decks.
With the tools you already use. WhatsApp, CRM, ERP, email and spreadsheets: we connect 128+ integrations without making you switch systems.
Your team stays in control. Least-privilege permissions, OAuth and encrypted keys, every action logged, and a person approves anything that matters.
No model lock-in. We run Claude, GPT or whichever model performs best for your operation, and swap it without migrations when a better one appears.

Frequently asked questions
Which is a good AI company in Latin America?
It depends on what you need: for a standard chatbot with no integrations, a SaaS product is enough, and if you want to train your own model, a machine learning lab fits better. If you want AI agents that work inside your WhatsApp, ERP and CRM — and someone who runs and improves them after delivery —, that is what we do at Spidev. To compare providers, use the 10 questions in our guide on how to choose an AI company.
Which Latin American countries does Spidev work in?
Spidev is based in Monterrey, Mexico, and works with companies across Mexico and Latin America, in Spanish and English. We have pages with use cases and regulations for Colombia, Chile, Peru and Argentina.
Does an AI agent comply with each country’s data law?
The agent doesn’t comply on its own: compliance depends on how your company handles data. What we do is build with least-privilege permissions, OAuth and encrypted keys, a log of every action and human approval where it matters, so your team and your legal advisor can review what each agent does. This is not legal advice.
Do I have to switch systems to use AI agents?
No. The agents work with the tools you already use — WhatsApp, CRM, ERP, email and spreadsheets —: we connect 128+ integrations and, if your system is a different one, we connect it if it has an API or can export data. We work with Claude, GPT or whichever model performs best, without locking you into one.
What language do you work in?
We work with clients in both Spanish and English, so your team can work with us in whichever it prefers.
How much does an AI project cost for a company in Latin America?
It depends on the number of agents and the systems to integrate. Besides implementation, count AI model and WhatsApp usage, which Meta prices differently in each country; we break it down country by country in how much AI implementation costs. We start with a free consultation and deliver a fixed-scope, fixed-price proposal before charging anything. The first agents reach production in weeks.
